Q. I have had cataracts removed and barely need glasses. Why do I need an eye test?
A. Eye health is so important to maintain vision throughout life. An annual check is recommended for everyone over 65 years of age, particularly for glaucoma, which is often symptom-free initially. (Under 65's: 3 yearly at a minimum, however with our harsh UV, eye checks are recommended if any skin changes become apparent, or as often as advised by your optometrist or GP.)
Q. How long will my eyetest take?
A. The appointment typically takes around 30-40 minutes, then allow time to choose glasses if required.
Q. What will my glasses cost?
A. Single vision glasses from $220, with delivery and fitting of the glasses and case & cleaning cloth provided. Quality multifocal glasses from $350.
Q. How do I know the glasses will suit me?
A. After the eye examination you are free to select from a wide range of shapes and sizes, designer and budget-friendly options with professional guidance to ensure a great, comfortable frame fit and best lens selection based on your needs and budget.
